Apostrophe Poster

In Rm 5 we started our reading and I made a poster about what I've learnt about apostrophes and where I have to put them and this is my poster.  The thing that was hard about it was that when I was watching a video it was kind of confusing cause when it was telling a where to put the a apostrophe. The thing I enjoyed was making the poster  because I go to decorate it.

Matariki Follow Up

Their names- Waita, Waiti, Waipunarangi, Ururangi, Tupu-a-rangi, Tupu-a-nuku, Matariki What they enjoy and what their in charge of- Tending plant’s, Singing, Accompains their grandmother to the water, lakes and oceans, Caring for smallest and fastest creatures and Racing. What we can learn from the sisters- We can learn how to encourage people to celebrate Matariki. We are reminded that we all have our special time and place and to spend time growing our pukenga, as well as that of our friends. Your own symbol and image to represent Matariki and her daughters-

 The thing I found hard was to remember all the things I read and learnt about Matariki. The thing I enjoyed was creating a poster, understanding and learning what Matariki was.

Why sleeping is important

In Room 5 we were learning why sleeping is important and to write a paragraph and make interesting we had to use SEER it was hard but at the same time it was easy, most of the kids in our class did a really good job in their writing. SEER can really make your writing interesting because if you use it and you are writing about an object using SEER will help you tell more about your object. I enjoyed writing and using SEER because I can teach and show other people to use it.

Here is my writing

It is important to sleep, because when you get to sleep you only use a little bit of your energy but when you wake up your brain gets full percent of its energy.For examples sleeping is good because sometimes when you sleep and your sick or you have a bad sore, sleeping can heal it. Another example is that if you had a good sleep you can wake up and have a good day. Sleeping can be bad sometimes because if you sleep too much you won’t be that fit and maybe you might want to sleep in and you have work in the morning you could be late when you do that. Sleeping helps you think about what your going to do the next day.
